The training provided by the Federal Courts will be in the use of CM/ECF only. If you determine additional training is needed there are training facilities available to assist you and we urge you to address this need prior to scheduling with this Court for your CM/ECF training.

We are not endorsing any specific facilities, but two such centers, Athena and New horizons,  have designed one-day programs at special rates to address the specific needs of those preparing for CM/ECF training. They have provided information on their offerings for your convenience. There are probably additional facilities offering similar training that you may wish to contact.

To help you determine this we have included a "Skills Survey" for you to evaluate your and /or your staffs’ needs in this area. The training provided by the Federal Courts will be in the use of CM/ECF only.
 

Using this type software can be a tremendous time-saver and reduce errors, so even though there is a cost involved in its purchase, it does produce a savings. A list of vendors  provided, as well as their Web sites.
