An answer is a formal written statement by a defendant responding to a complaint or motion allowed under Fed. R. Bankr. P. 7012.

 

This event is used to file an answer to a complaint, Third-party complaint, Counterclaim and Cross-Claim.

35 days after the issuance of the summons in which to serve an answer or make a motion allowed under Fed. R. Bankr. P. 7012

A foreign country

 

The court must prescribe the time for service of the answer when service of a complaint is made by publication or upon a party. See Fed. R. Bankr. P. 7012(a)
