11 U.S.C.  § 107(b)



A party must seek permission from the court to file a document under seal, by electronically filing a motion and proposed order.


After the court grants the motion, the party must conventionally (over-the-counter) file the sealed document with the Clerk's Office.  The clerk stores all sealed records separate from the case file. See Sealed Document Filing Process for more information.
