Dismiss Debtor (Motion) - Chapter 11

11 U.S.C. § 1112

 

A Motion to Dismiss a debtor(s) is filed by the debtor-in-possession, US Trustee, or a party in interest for the purpose of dismissing a debtor(s) from the jurisdiction of the Bankruptcy Court.  Pursuant to § 1112(b)(3) the court shall commence the hearing not later than 30 days after the filing of the motion, and shall decide the motion not later than 15 days after commencement of the hearing.

 

Do Not use this docket event when a motion is requesting dismissal for one of the following reason:

Filing Amended Motion:

 

  1. File amended motion using the above docket event; and
