This is a free service allowing debtors to receive court notices and orders from the bankruptcy court by email rather than U.S. Mail.
Advantages:
Free - There is no charge to the Debtor.
Fast - Receive court orders or notices the same day as filed.
Convenient - Read orders and notices anywhere internet access is available.
Go Green - Less paper.
Only notices and orders filed by the court can be emailed to the debtor. Parties, such as attorneys, trustees and creditors must continue to serve the debtor by U.S. Mail or in person as required by court rules.
To request email noticing, the debtor must complete and file Request for Email Notification of Debtor (Local Form MSSB-9036) with the court.
